Unfiltered Aesthetics began as the solo vision of founder and Registered Nurse Vanessa, whose passion for aesthetics was supported and shaped by a close network of like-minded women. With encouragement from fellow nurses, beauty therapists, and business owners, Vanessa built Unfiltered Aesthetics on the foundations of collaboration, integrity, and a genuine desire to help others feel confident in their own skin.
The name “Unfiltered Aesthetics” reflects our core philosophy: a real, honest, and down-to-earth approach to aesthetic care. We value authenticity and believe in celebrating natural beauty—free from unrealistic expectations or the pressure to conform. This philosophy is carried through everything we do, from the way we consult with clients to the environment we’ve created: warm, welcoming, and supportive.

Vanessa’s journey has been one of growth and balance—both professionally and personally. Within it’s first year, the clinic has expanded to include a Dermal Therapist and an additional Registered Nurse, allowing Vanessa to expand into clinical training while continuing to grow a clinic that reflects her values. As a mother, clinician, and mentor, she is proud to inspire others—especially women pursuing their passions—to take meaningful steps toward their goals.

MEET VANESSA
Founder & Clinic Director of Unfiltered Aesthetics
Vanessa is a skilled and passionate Registered Nurse, and the proud founder and Clinic Director of Unfiltered Aesthetics in Adelaide’s west. With over 13 years of nursing experience across Oncology / Haematology, Emergency and Palliative Care, Vanessa’s career has always been grounded in compassion, clinical excellence, and a desire to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
Her transition into the field of cosmetic nursing was inspired by both personal experience and a natural affinity for aesthetics and detail. What began as a deep appreciation for skin health and facial harmony evolved into a professional calling—leading to the creation of Unfiltered Aesthetics, a space where clients feel heard, informed, and supported.
Vanessa is committed to ongoing professional development and places education and safety at the forefront of her practice. Her work as a national trainer’s for Fresh Clinics, Merz Aesthetics and for Alocuro (Specialising in Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) and BioFiller) reflects her dedication to clinical standards and knowledge-sharing within the industry. In 2022, she was proudly nominated for the SA Woman Awards – Mum in Business category, recognising her impact as a clinician, business owner, and mother.
Outside of clinical practice, Vanessa’s greatest inspiration comes from her two young daughters. Her journey as a mother influences the way she approaches care—thoughtful, nurturing, and driven by authenticity. She hopes to inspire other women to follow their passions, balancing ambition with purpose.
Vanessa also has a strong interest in community connection. Through Unfiltered Aesthetics, she aspires to support local initiatives and give back to causes that align with the clinic’s values.

MEET CHELSEA
Registered Nurse
Chelsea is a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse with four years of clinical experience and a growing passion for aesthetic medicine. With a strong interest in skin health and non-surgical aesthetic care, Chelsea brings a thoughtful and client-focused approach to every consultation.
Her journey into aesthetics was driven by a desire to combine her clinical skills with her love for artistry and helping others feel more confident in their skin. Known for her warm, approachable nature, Chelsea values building genuine relationships with clients and ensuring they feel comfortable, informed, and supported throughout their experience.
Outside of work, Chelsea has recently embraced motherhood and is now navigating life with her beautiful baby boy. With deep roots in her Italian heritage, family plays an important role in her life, and she brings that same sense of care, connection, and community to her work at Unfiltered Aesthetics.
Chelsea is excited to continue her growth in the aesthetics field alongside the Unfiltered Aesthetics team, where she’s committed to safe, ethical practice and helping clients achieve results that align with their personal goals.

Senior Skin Therapist
Mel is an experienced and highly respected Skin Therapist with over 10 years in the industry. Her passion for skin health and holistic care has earned her a loyal following, and in 2025, she was proudly recognised as South Australia’s #1 Skin Therapist by The Advertiser—a reflection of her dedication, knowledge, and client-centred approach.
Mel takes a comprehensive view of skin, understanding that true skin health goes beyond surface-level treatments. She is known for her caring nature, personalised recommendations, and focus on long-term skin wellness. Her clients appreciate the time she takes to educate and empower them, always working with the skin—not against it.
Outside the clinic, Mel is a devoted mum to her son and values the balance between family life and a fulfilling career. Her nurturing energy and grounded presence are felt in every treatment room, making clients feel instantly at ease.
As part of the Unfiltered Aesthetics team, Mel brings a wealth of experience and a heartfelt commitment to helping clients feel confident in their skin—naturally, and at their own pace.
